Baseball Recap: DeKalb Takes a Loss

The DeKalb Barons came up short against the Pendleton Heights Arabians on Saturday and fell 7-3. The Barons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brady Vince and Aydan Parr stepped up to the plate in a big way. Vince went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base, while Parr went 1-for-3 with one home run.

DeKalb's loss dropped their record down to 19-5. As for Pendleton Heights, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Pendleton Heights beat DeKalb by a score of 5-0 later that day.
