            Basketball Recap: Telfair County Trojans vs. Metter Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            It's playoff time, and Telfair County had no trouble coming through when it counted. They managed  a  67-63 win over the Metter Tigers  on Tuesday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Telfair County to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Passion Clay, who  went 7-for-14  en route to 15 points along with eight  rebounds and seven  assists. Those seven  assists gave  Clay a new career-high.  Aamoni Posley was another key player,  going 8-for-11  on her way to 20  points and eight  boards.
 Telfair County  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 23  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive rebounds in 27 consecutive  contests  dating back to last season.
Telfair County has  been performing  well recently as they've  won nine of their last 11 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record  this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.4 points. As for Metter, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four games,  which has put a noticeable dent in their 18-6 record  this season.
 Looking ahead, Telfair County will challenge Bowdon on Friday. Bowdon will roll in looking for their  12th straight  victory, something Telfair County surely won't give up without a fight. Metter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
