Softball Recap: Bay Comes Up Short

If Bay was feeling good fresh off their 20-2 takedown of Graceville last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tornadoes fell just short of the Vernon Yellowjackets by a score of 11-9 on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Tornadoes in their meetings with the Yellowjackets: they've now lost three in a row.

Bay now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Vernon, their record is now 4-12.

Looking ahead, Bay will be playing in front of their home fans against Rutherford at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rams will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Vernon, they will venture away from home to challenge Ponce De Leon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
