Salisbury is a perfect 4-0 against North Stanly since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Hornets will look to defend their home pitch against the Comets at 6:00 p.m. One thing working in Salisbury's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last three matches.

North Stanly better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Salisbury's game on Wednesday is any indication, that's when Salisbury really gets things going. The Hornets were the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over North Rowan. Salisbury might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, North Stanly was forced to settle for a draw. They and Albemarle finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw on Wednesday.

Salisbury pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those four games. North Stanly's draw gives them a new season record of 2-8-1.

Everything went Salisbury's way against North Stanly in their previous meeting back in March of 2022, as Salisbury made off with a 7-1 victory. Will the Hornets repeat their success, or do the Comets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
