Baseball Recap: Desert View Comes Up Short

Desert View's last matchup with Buena could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Thursday. The Jaguars lost 14-4 to the Colts. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Desert View saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Orlando Pinedo, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Yadier Acu?a was another, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Desert View's loss dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Buena, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Desert View will welcome Cienega at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Buena, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Vista Grande at 4:00 p.m.
