South Glens Falls and Gloversville are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Huskies/Dragons at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. South Glens Falls is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

On Thursday, South Glens Falls came up short against Queensbury and fell 6-3.

South Glens Falls saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Ford, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Another was Grady Bammert, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Gloversville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of Scotia-Glenville. That's two games in a row now that the Huskies/Dragons have lost by just one run.

South Glens Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Gloversville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.

South Glens Falls beat Gloversville 6-1 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
