Basketball Recap: Cabool Takes a Loss

Cabool lost against Norwood back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cabool Bulldogs took a blow against the Norwood Pirates, falling 88-24.

Leading Norwood to victory were Carder Kelly and Gunner Bradshaw. Kelly went 6 for 7 from beyond the arc on his way to 22 points, while Bradshaw went 7 of 8 en route to 15 points and three steals. That's the most points Bradshaw has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Bradshaw, who posted five points and five steals.

Cabool's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Norwood, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Cabool will venture away from home to face off against Seymour at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Norwood, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 72-43 victory against Salem on the 27th.
