Baseball Game Preview: Walters Blue Devils vs. Comanche Indians

The Walters Blue Devils will square off against the Comanche Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

After dropping their season opener at home, Comanche is headed out to face a Blue Devils team ready to give their home crowd a win. Walters came up short against Empire on Tuesday, falling 9-2.

Cooper Cormany was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Comanche came out on top against Eisenhower on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run third inning. The Indians put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 10-2 victory. That's two games straight that the Indians have won by exactly eight runs.

Walters was able to grind out a solid win over Comanche when the teams last played back in March of 2024, winning 7-2. Will the Blue Devils repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
