Notre Dame entered their tilt with York on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 2-0. While the Spirits didn't have the best season last year (they finished 0-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Notre Dame's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for York, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Notre Dame has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Gonzales on the 20th. As for York, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Oakwood at 6:00 p.m. on October 1.
