Poplar Bluff had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a hard 35-18 fall against the Valley View Blazers on Friday. The Mules have struggled against the Blazers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Poplar Bluff wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 14-7 defeat against Chaminade on the 5th. As for Valley View, they have also already played their next game, a 37-27 loss against Searcy on the 5th.
