Delphi Community took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They breezed past the Benton Central Bison to the tune of 54-0. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Oracles just coasted through the last quarter.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Delphi Community's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Keygan Elliott, Isaiah Frost, and Weston Brown, who each picked up one sack apiece. Delphi Community received some extra help from Elliott, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Delphi Community didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 41-6 defeat against Twin Lakes on the 29th. As for Benton Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 57-6 loss against Seeger on the 29th.
