Basketball Recap: Yonkers Montessori Academy Takes a Loss

If Yonkers Montessori Academy was feeling good fresh off their 65-16 takedown of Keio Academy of N.Y. last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Yonkers Montessori Academy Eagles took a 54-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tuckahoe Tigers. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 61-38.

Yonkers Montessori Academy's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 17-3. As for Tuckahoe, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Yonkers Montessori Academy nor Tuckahoe have any future games scheduled.
