Williams has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Person Rockets at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Williams will be strutting in after a win while Person will be coming in after a defeat.
Williams' game on Wednesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They had just enough and edged Cedar Ridge out 3-2. The victory was just what Williams needed coming off of a 5-0 loss in their prior contest.
Olivia Vandre was the driving force of Williams' attack as she scored all three of Williams' goals. With that big game she's now up to seven goals this season.
Meanwhile, Person fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Southern Alamance on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots. The defeat means Person is still on the hunt for the season's first 'W'.
Williams' win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Person, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
