Basketball Recap: Franklin Piles Up the Points Against Nathan Hale

Franklin played in conference for the first time on Wednesday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Nathan Hale Raiders 61-20. That's two games straight that the Quakers have won by exactly 41 points.

Despite the loss, Nathan Hale saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Dominique Barker posted ten points.

Franklin's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-3. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.0 points per game. As for Nathan Hale, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Franklin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 49-21 victory against Ingraham on the 13th. Nathan Hale will take on Bishop Blanchet in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on December 18th.
