Soccer Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson and Columbus Grove squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Jefferson had to settle for second. They lost 6-0 to the Bulldogs. The defeat continues a trend for Jefferson in their meetings with Columbus Grove: they've now lost six in a row.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 8-10-1. As for Columbus Grove, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-2-2.

Jefferson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Columbus Grove, they will face off against Mansfield Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbus Grove's defense better be ready for this one: Mansfield Christian have averaged an impressive 6.5 goals per game this season.
