Soccer Recap: Horizon Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Horizon can bid farewell to their four-match losing streak thanks to their match on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Monarch Coyotes a 2-0 shutout. Horizon's winning goal came courtesy of Antonio Lugo.

Horizon's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-9-1. As for Monarch, they now have a losing record of 5-6-2.
