Baseball Game Preview: Cigarroa Toros vs. Mission Veterans Memorial Patriots

The Toros are taking a road trip to challenge the Patriots at 6:00 p.m. Mission Veterans Memorial took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Cigarroa, who comes in off a win.

Cigarroa will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run last Friday, then bounced right back against Carrizo Springs on Tuesday. The Toros came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 11-6. The win continues a trend for the Toros in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Mission Veterans Memorial didn't have quite enough to beat Palmview on Friday and fell 3-2. The Patriots have struggled against the Lobos recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Mission Veterans Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Cigarroa, their victory bumped their record up to 4-13.
