Kickapoo has gone a perfect 5-0 against Republic recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Kickapoo Chiefs will take on the Republic Tigers at 7:15 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Kickapoo took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They claimed a resounding 67-17 win over Waynesville. The Chiefs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Republic waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They breezed past the Eagles to the tune of 72-44. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 13th, while the Eagles are ranked 148th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kickapoo's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games. As for Republic, their win bumped their record up to 17-3.

Everything went Kickapoo's way against Republic in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as Kickapoo made off with a 59-37 victory. Does Kickapoo have another victory up their sleeve, or will Republic turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
