On Friday Haley Lewis struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits, which was good enough to set a new career-high in strikeouts. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her tenth in a row with more than five strikeouts. On the year, she has been strong no matter where she plays.
