Basketball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Mt. Zion Prep Academy

Mt. Zion Prep Academy had won four straight games and Crystal Hardy did her part to make it five on Saturday. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 74-39 stomp they got against the Flowers Jaguars thanks in part to Hardy, who went 6 of 11 from beyond the arc on her way to 21 points and six rebounds. The matchup was her fifth in a row with at least ten points.

Mt. Zion Prep Academy's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Flowers, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Mt. Zion Prep Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 53-38 loss against Kenwood on the 30th. As for Flowers, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 69-59 defeat against Maret on the 31st.
