After a string of six wins, Alamance Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Union Grove Christian Patriots by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Alamance Christian's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-2. As for Union Grove Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alamance Christian will take on Cramerton Christian Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Union Grove Christian, they will challenge Triad Baptist Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
