Football Recap: Taylor Beats Finneytown for Their Fourth Straight Win

Taylor waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They enjoyed a cozy 32-14 victory over the Finneytown Wildcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Yellowjackets also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Easton Schrimpf had a dynamite game, rushing for 289 yards and four TDs while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. Those 289 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Schrimpf was just one part of a punishing run game: Taylor was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 304 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Taylor's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Finneytown, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

As of now, neither Taylor nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
