Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northeast). They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 67-19 victory over the Frostproof Bulldogs. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Vikings with their most commanding win of the season.

Northeast's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jy'Aira Washington, who went 10 of 18 on her way to 21 points and five steals. Another player making a difference was Geniya Fisher, who posted eight points in addition to 11 rebounds and six steals.

Northeast was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

Northeast has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-11 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.3 points per game. As for Frostproof, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-11.

Northeast will venture away from home to face off against Osceola at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Frostproof, they will host Lake Placid at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Frostproof is facing Lake Placid at the right time seeing as Lake Placid is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
