Phoebus dropped down to 10-3 on Wednesday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Bethel Bruins by a score of 3-2. While the Phantoms didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bruins 25-19 in the first set.

As for Bethel, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since September 2nd.

Leading Bethel to victory were Jill Weiss Wallace and Lamaya Creekmur. Weiss Wallace had 12 digs, while Creekmur hit 100% for 12 kills and nine aces and one block.

Looking ahead, Phoebus will venture away from home to challenge Norfolk Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bethel, they will take on Woodside at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
