The Bears will welcome the Vikings  at 3:15  p.m. Poly's pitching crew has only allowed 4.1  runs per game  this season, so Hueneme's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Poly's pitching crew heads into the  matchup  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  last Tuesday. They won by a  run and slipped past Lakeside  1-0. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Lancers recently, as the game was their third consecutive  victory against them.
 Not much got past  Jacob DeVincenzo, who gave up just  two  hits and racked up seven Ks to keep Lakeside off the board. DeVincenzo has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in five consecutive appearances.
Meanwhile,  after a string of 12 wins, Hueneme's good fortune finally ran out  last Tuesday. They fell just short of Pacifica by a score of  5-4.
  Walter Nickerson stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he went 2-for-3 with one  home run and one  double.  Cristian Solis was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with one  home run.
 Hueneme's loss dropped their record down to 18-8. As for Poly, their win bumped their record up to 14-11.
