Softball Game Preview: White Swan Cougars vs. Columbia Coyotes

White Swan hasn't had much luck against Columbia recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The White Swan Cougars will be playing in front of their home fans against the Columbia Coyotes at 11:00 a.m.

White Swan came up short against Mabton on Tuesday, falling 23-5.

Meanwhile, while Columbia put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Goldendale. Columbia blew past Goldendale 15-0. The Coyotes' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Columbia pushed their record up to 2-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for White Swan, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
