Recap: Trinity Chargers vs. Kermit Yellow Jackets
The Trinity Chargers pushed their score all the way to 57 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Kermit 62-57. Trinity has struggled against Kermit recently, as their game on Saturday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Among those leading the charge was Jaden Bejarano, who scored 19 points. He hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Brayden Pando was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Kermit, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Trinity will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Midland Classical Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th. As for Kermit, they will head out on the road to face off against Pecos at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pecos is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
