Westlake has gone a perfect 10-0 against Del Valle recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Westlake Chaparrals will head out on the road to square off against the Del Valle Cardinals at 7:45 p.m. Westlake's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Del Valle's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Westlake will head out to face Del Valle after giving up their first home loss of the season on Tuesday. Westlake fell just short of Lake Travis by a score of 2-1. The loss put an end to the Chaparrals' undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, Del Valle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 7-0 to Dripping Springs. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 455th, while the Tigers are ranked 119th).

Having lost for the first time this season, Westlake fell to 9-1. As for Del Valle, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.

Westlake skirted past Del Valle 1-0 in their previous meeting back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for Westlake since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
