Kennewick had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Hermiston Bulldogs a 6-0 shutout. Considering the Lions have won six games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Kennewick's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Hermiston, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.
