Falmouth is a perfect 5-0 against Sanford since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Navigators will head out to face off against the Spartans at 4:00 p.m. Falmouth will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Falmouth came out on top against Deering on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run seventh inning. The Navigators were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Rams. The result was nothing new for the Navigators, who have now won six contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Falmouth let Caden Berry and Brandon White run wild. Berry went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI, while White got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and three RBI. That's the most stolen bases White has posted since back in June of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Simmons, who went 1-for-5 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Sanford's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Marshwood on Friday. The Spartans won by a run and slipped past Cheverus 4-3.

Falmouth's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-4-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Sanford, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Falmouth came out on top in a nail-biter against Sanford in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, sneaking past 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Navigators since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
