Neosho barely beat Republic the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory on Thursday. Considering the Wildcats have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Neosho saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Drake Jennings, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Neosho's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Republic, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Neosho is set to face off against their familiar foe Carthage at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Republic will challenge rival Joplin at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
