Memorial beats Jersey Village for their fifth straight win

Recap: Memorial Mustangs vs. Jersey Village Falcons
The Memorial Mustangs had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.8 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. Everything went their way against Jersey Village as Memorial made off with a 41-18 win. The result was nothing new for Memorial, who have now won four matchups by 23 points or more so far this season.
Memorial was led to victory by Corbin Comiskey and Jackson Salters. Comiskey rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns, while Salters threw for 255 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.1 yards per attempt. Memorial also got help from Robert Fowler who showed off his sure hands for 107 receiving yards.
Memorial's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Jersey Village, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Memorial will square off against Stratford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Stratford's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last three games. As for Jersey Village, they will head out on the road to face off against Northbrook at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Northbrook comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
