Volleyball Recap: Woodland Wolves vs. Natomas Nighthawks
Woodland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Natomas Nighthawks, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Nighthawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.
The final score came out to 25-13, 25-17, 25-10.
Woodland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Natomas, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.
Woodland and Natomas will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Wolves see the court they'll take on El Camino at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Natomas, their break will end when they face Destiny Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st.
