Softball Recap: Thorp Comes Up Short

If Thorp was feeling good fresh off their 20-10 takedown of Spencer on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cardinals came up short against the Cadott Hornets on Tuesday, falling 13-4. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Thorp's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Cadott, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Thorp has already played their next game, a 15-0 loss against Stanley-Boyd on the 16th. As for Cadott, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 10-0 defeat against McDonell Central on the 16th.
