Softball Recap: Cabrini Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Cabrini finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against the Cranbrook Kingswood Cranes, falling 13-2. The Monarchs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cranes apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Cabrini saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jodi Browning, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Browning has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played.

Cabrini's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Cranbrook Kingswood, their record now sits at 4-2.

While Cabrini had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
