Basketball Game Preview: Brentwood War Eagles vs. Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers

Having just played yesterday, the Brentwood War Eagles will jump right back in to play the Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Brentwood is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They strolled past Gatewood with points to spare, taking the game 74-56. The victory was familiar territory for the War Eagles, who have now won three games in a row.

Brentwood got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tristan Robinson out in front who posted 23 points. Another player making a difference was Baylor Cobb, who had 22 points.

Meanwhile, Central Fellowship Christian Academy didn't have too much trouble with Windsor Academy on Thursday as they won 70-54. The victory continues a trend for the Lancers in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won eight in a row.

Brentwood's win bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Central Fellowship Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 19-4.

Brentwood came up short against Central Fellowship Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in January, falling 62-55. Can Brentwood avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
