Basketball Game Preview: Temecula Valley Golden Bears vs. Elsinore Tigers + How To Watch

The Temecula Valley Golden Bears will take on the Elsinore Tigers in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Temecula Valley sitting on three straight victories and Elsinore on 15.

Last Thursday, Temecula Valley earned a 72-63 win over Beckman. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Golden Bears' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 59th, while the Patriots are ranked 233rd).

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Elsinore over West Valley in every quarter on their way to victory on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Tigers blew the Mustangs out of the water with an 82-35 final score. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 20 points or more this season.

Elsinore's victory bumped their record up to 15-0. As for Temecula Valley, their win bumped their record up to 10-2.

Everything came up roses for Temecula Valley against Elsinore in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 91-61 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Bears since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
