Softball Recap: Hillhouse Takes a Loss

Hillhouse was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 14-2 to the East Haven Yellowjackets. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Academics couldn't push the score so high this time.

Hillhouse's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for East Haven, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hillhouse will venture away from home to square off against Platt Tech at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for East Haven, they will head out to take on Lyman Hall at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Yellowjackets' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
