Volleyball Game Preview: Chaparral Lobos vs. Tularosa Wildcats + How To Watch

The Chaparral Lobos are taking a road trip to take on the Tularosa Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Saturday, Chaparral came up short against Valencia and fell 3-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Lobos in their meetings with the Jaguars: they've now lost five in a row.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-23, 25-27, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Tularosa came up short against Cloudcroft on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Cloudcroft scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-23, 25-20.

Chaparral's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Tularosa, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.

Chaparral was able to grind out a solid win over Tularosa when the teams last played back in August of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lobos since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
