Baseball Recap: Albertville Comes Up Short

Albertville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Grissom Tigers, falling 13-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-3 last Thursday.

Albertville's loss dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Grissom, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Grissom beat Albertville by a score of 7-0 later that day.
