Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Richmond). They put the hurt on the Scotland Fighting Scots with a sharp 9-0 victory on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Richmond considering their one-goal performance the match before.

Their offense was hitting Scotland from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Erin Drumwright led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

The win made it two in a row for Richmond and bumps their season record up to 4-6-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for Scotland, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Richmond will take on Lumberton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Richmond is facing Lumberton at the right time seeing as Lumberton is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Scotland, they will host Hoke County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
