Conestoga and Lower Merion are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2019, but likely not for long. The Pioneers will welcome the Aces at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.

Last Wednesday, Conestoga was able to grind out a solid win over Penncrest, taking the game 8-4.

Max Brown looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Luke Hunter, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Chase Cherny was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.

Conestoga was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .414. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Lower Merion got the win against Harriton on Monday by a conclusive 10-1.

Lower Merion's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Conestoga, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.
