Lyndon beats Cedar Vale/Dexter for their ninth straight win

The Lyndon Tigers put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Cedar Vale/Dexter 55-0 at home. The result was nothing new for Lyndon, who have now won eight games by 28 points or more so far this season.

Jalen Massey was a one-man wrecking crew for Lyndon as he rushed for 169 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also caught a touchdown. Massey was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 54 yards. Tanner Heckel was another key contributor, throwing for 62 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.

Lyndon's victory was their sixth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 9-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.2 points per game. As for Cedar Vale/Dexter, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Lyndon will take on South Sumner [Caldwell/South Haven] at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South Sumner [Caldwell/South Haven] has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 148 points over their last three games. Cedar Vale/Dexter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
