Volleyball Recap: Arrowhead Christian Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Arrowhead Christian faced off against Aquinas on Thursday. The Eagles fell 3-1 to the Falcons. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Arrowhead Christian was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Aquinas work for it, especially in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18, 23-25, 26-24.

Arrowhead Christian dropped their record down to 1-9 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Aquinas, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Arrowhead Christian will challenge rival Woodcrest Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Aquinas is set to take on their familiar foe Redlands Adventist Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
