Knox lost to LaVille back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Redskins sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Lancers. While the Redskins didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Knox saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Myles Mclaughlin, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that Mclaughlin has hit this season.

Knox is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for LaVille, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-4 record.

Knox didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-1 win against West Central on the 26th. LaVille has also already played their next game (against Bremen), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
