Baseball Recap: Eagle Pass Eagles vs. Warren Warriors
With a playoff game on the line, Eagle Pass rose to the challenge on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 victory over the Warren Warriors. This was a revenge contest for Eagle Pass, as the team was forced to settle for a 2-0 loss when these two played last Thursday.
DJ Aranda was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Izhar Mauricio, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases.
Eagle Pass' win bumped their record up to 13-16-2. As for Warren, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-13.
