Basketball Recap: Peshtigo Victorious

While Peshtigo didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-23), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 39-38 win over the Oconto Falls Panthers. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 63-32 victory the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

The win made it two in a row for Peshtigo and bumps their season record up to 5-2. As for Oconto Falls, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Peshtigo will head out on the road to square off against Pioneer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Oconto Falls, they will be home for the holidays to greet Freedom at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Freedom will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Oconto Falls surely won't give up without a fight.
