Softball Recap: Pacheco Takes a Loss

Pacheco lost against Los Banos back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pacheco Panthers took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Los Banos Tigers. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sophia Lowery made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Emma Landeros, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Pacheco's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Los Banos, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pacheco will face off against Stone Ridge Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Los Banos, they will challenge Dos Palos at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Los Banos' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Dos Palos' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
