They fell just short of the Olentangy Orange Pioneers by a score of 8-6 on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Pioneers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Hilliard Davidson now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Olentangy Orange, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.
