Orono put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their undefeated season alive. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the George Stevens Academy Eagles. Given Orono's advantage in MaxPreps' Maine soccer rankings (they are ranked 21st, while George Stevens Academy are ranked 87th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Gabe Lule and Wesley Crouse scored both of Orono's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Orono's victory bumped their record up to 13-0-1. As for George Stevens Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9-1.
